The Crofton Estate is a magnificently restored group of properties consisting of various residences in a stunning location in Mossley Hill, Liverpool. A variety of homes are for sale and rent in contrasting styles from modern and contemporary to traditional period.

Tangent360 were asked to survey the grounds with a view to making a virtual tour and upon entering the estate it was clear that the superb quality of build and sumptuous landscaping was ideally suited to this medium.

A high resolution virtual tour was recommended being the most interactive and immersive experience possible allowing potential customers to get the full sense of grandeur and tranquillity that the estate exudes. Static low resolution photograph really does not do justice to a property of this standing.

The estate enjoys sumptuous mature gardens, a road that links the two security gates, a large car park, precision landscaping and much more. As such Tangent360 also proposed to develop a site map and a built in image slideshow to improve navigation and promote the key features.

The site map is accessible within the tour by clicking a button in the main interface which triggers the map to slide in. Each panorama is presented on the map as an icon and includes a direction indicator so that it is clear which direction is being viewed at any time. As the user looks around in the current view the direction indicator rotates accordingly. Hotspots on the siteplan can also be clicked to immediately jump to another location.

The image slideshow is also triggered using an interface button causing the main tour to darken and the slideshow fade in over the top. The images in the slideshow, which were shot by Tangent360, animate using a slow zoom effect and include text descriptions for each slide.

The virtual tour is hosted by Tangent360 and the webpage designed to fit in with the existing Crofton Estate website and be available for linking to from Rightmove the UK's leading property website.
