Based in Liverpool, Noname is a brand developed by Capricorn Kitchens, which was established to supply high quality kitchens to trade and retail customers alike. Capricorn were having a new website developed and needed in innovative and striking feature to show offer their fantastic range of kitchens.
Tangent 360 visited the showroom in Liverpool and were blown away by the kitchens displayed in the amzing showroom environment. It was clear after the first 5 minutes that a virtual tour would be an ideal way to open up the showroom on the web to potential customers.
We proposed to create a tour composed of six high resolution scenes allowing potential customers to look around and zoom in to see the quality of workmanship, the finishes on worktops and doors and the range of appliances installed. We also proposed some Tangent 360 Special Features in the form of interactive elements such as pull out drawers and cupboards that can open, a video slideshow showing on an integrated LCD screen and unique popout interfaces to display specific details about workstops and accessories.
The Noname brand uses distinctive yellow logo and tab trademarks on all their literature and on their new website so we ensured that we kept this corporate identity by using similar tabs to open and close interactive features and by using the same shade of yellow on the hotspots to move between scenes.
The finished virtual tour fulfilled and exceeded the brief to become and interactive, immersive environment deserving the title of "Virtual Showroom". The Capricorn team are so thrilled with the product that they are to announce the launch of the new website and virtual showroom in the Your Move magazine in April 2010.
